Well, I used Pixer on one of my cat photos. I'm not super happy with the results. The black cat turned colors when I tried to lighten up the wood behind him. Here's the before and after shots.

I enjoy looking at your cat photos. Wish you would post a picture of each of your cats. I think your meows have a very comfy arrangement. In my next life I want to come back as your cat.
